I know you called the technique gimmicky, but I’ll be damned if I didn’t absolutely love the way the camera work centered Elliot’s perspective in the opening few shots. I wish more shows/movies would do that. It’s remarkably effective.
Damnit, don’t tempt me like this. I’ve already decided this show just isn’t for me. I can only stave off the allure of Brühl for so long.
World War with a Vengeance.
I really like Daniel Brühl and will watch anything with him in it, but I watched the pilot and found it rather dry.
Panda Express isn’t a great name, but it’s a combination of two words that are both individually good words, so there’s a floor on how low it can go.
You all right there, Frieza, mate?
I don’t really know where to put these now that episodes aren’t getting reviewed, but this season has been tremendously enjoyable. First season of the show I would recommend without reservation.
I legitimately applauded at my television when Jason had the false realization that that’s why they call him Chidi.
I literally helped my aunt canceled an unused subscription earlier today.
Big Jo Nesbø fan here.
Brick is fucking awesome. I’m glad someone beat me to the punch on the obligatory.
Oh? Well, shit. I guess it’s time to extend my CW-verse to... eight shows?!
We’re two months away from “He put an -ah on the end of it” and three from “Well, if they can say it...”
Shit, I can still do three-quarters of the Yakko’s World song.
Eliot is objectively the best character on this show, right?
“Fool For Love” is good, but it doesn’t even crack my Top 3. “The Body” is the only other one I have in contention for Best Episode.
Literally, the top two recommended stories at the bottom of the article are:
For a show that’s doing pretty well with Rebecca’s own mental health struggles, this episode’s group therapy scene was kind of disappointing to me.
The Incredibles is grossly overrated on this list.
