I don’t care about Jagged Little Pill. I came to say that “You Can’t Do That on Television” is one of the best TV children’s sketch shows ever.

I feel like this is kind of the nature of music, though. Very little of it stands the test of time, but a great deal of it means something to a person or a group of people at a certain time. I remember earnestly singing to songs that legitimately make me cringe now (I’m looking at you, Backstreet Boys’ “Incomplete”).

And it will continue as long as it is necessary for my day to day life.

Ha! I had to read the article again carefully to understand the big deal. Answer: not a big deal. At all. Except that the US is still so culturally influenced by its puritan forebears. Fascinating!

It's been over 2 years, get over it.

I don't mind doing it - it's pretty much fire and forget at this point: Buy the disc, rip/convert it and upload to media server - kick it off before bedtime and copy the completed product to the media server before I go to work, then dump disc in box with the rest of them.

It's not like people are manually doing each of those steps. There are loads of freeware, cradle-to-grave solutions that would take care of that without the end user even noticing or doing anything beyond installing the program. Everyone is a criminal that cannot be trusted though, so that logic will never become a
