Okay...? And the sky is blue. This is standard for online games. No one expected this to release and then them do nothing with the game.

It has both...?
You... have no idea what you're talking about and it really shows.
That... in itself is an issue.
An even bigger point is server location. You can have gigabit internet but have an absolutely horrible time with an action game if you aren’t near the server because of latency. That’s my biggest issue with these services. Regardless of how good the hardware is they use or how good your internet is you may never be…
I dunno, I’ve seen the hardware they use for Shadow and I imagine everyone else uses something similar. The only thing I’ve heard/experienced bad about these services is the base hardware (the consoles in your home), Stadia in particular, and the latency due to not being near a server. The games run well, but if your…
Oh I see the disconnect. I misread MFi as “me.”
...I think you're completely misunderstanding what I said. You asked if you could use your dual shock, I said probably not as the Luma controller seems to have features the service relies on.
Probably not as the article says the controller is connected directly to the cloud.
I... don’t think you know how this works. They run the games on incredibly good hardware that’s streamed to you.
Even if your internet is amazing, depending on how far away from the server can ultimately dictate whether or not the games are playable or not.
Reading this hurts my eyes.
The modding community says hello
To everyone saying Yoshida is promising on this title, that may not necessarily be a bad thing. He has led FFXIV down a path of monotony which has driven myself and others from the game. To people praising him for doing something amazing with XIV, all he did was look at WoW, copy most of what has worked for it, and…
The textures? Sure, maybe. The rest of the design? Definitely pulls from other ifrits from through out the series.
If you by “needlessly convoluted” you mean “things that are explicitly stated through the medium” then sure.
That actually killed me ngl
