Is there a word for the lighting or filmography style of this thing? They really nailed the effect.

I have no issue with the common 7-10 grade curve. The reason is I think most games are reasonably well made. I think game ratings should convey two things: whether a game is fun to play, and whether it excels relative to the competition. I don't think I've ever played a game that wasn't fun to play, so it makes

Good day fellow Sea Bronies!

What they did with Tomb Raider this year should be considered a major triumph for the depiction of women in video games in my opinion. Considering the character had previously been widely considered a pair of walking tits it seems they've turned her into a strong lead and largely avoided gratuitous sexualization.

He's right, the bundles aren't Black Friday deals, they're just the standard prices. The $250 NintendoLand clearance Deluxe and the Best Buy option are the only deals, even if you think the official bundles are a good value. The article does try to point this out though.

DON'T buy the Wii U version of multiplatform games if the gift recipient has other platforms that also run the game. The Wii U versions often lack the same DLC offerings or a full feature set. The exception is the 2013 Wii U version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which is worth looking into since it adds so much to the

But, as someone who lives in Japan, I see a similar mix and matching with Western culture all the time as well as seemingly endless appropriation of foreign cultures for entertainment purposes. That doesn't make it right or okay, but it shows that this isn't only an American thing or a white thing or whatever.

Ordinarily I'd say impractical designs are good enough in games. But these guys call themselves gun specialists. They should be designing to appease gun fans. Otherwise why not just develop the weapons in house?

The Wiimote already killed the Start button and introduced the + and - buttons. The Gamepad and classic controllers take these buttons and recombine them with the concept of the Start and Select buttons.

I feel this article is a little misleading. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this isn't like Guitar Hero or DDR where a small library of songs are hand-picked. Joysound is a major karaoke service used by karaoke parlors with thousands of songs. So the content of the songs isn't under Nintendo's control in the same

Data is tricky. It might be factual, but it's not truth. Here, the data rolled out doesn't specifically prove people in Japan aren't having sex. It's correlation. Guilt by association. Innuendo. What's more, the numbers simply support the poll at hand, and are not necessarily representative of the larger population.

The guy seems to have an unhealthy obsession with stat increases. He uses the same flawed argument on Magikarp.

Well here's at least one person appreciating the work they do on Zelda enemy names.

So I'm guessing the HD ports didn't sell well enough for the Wii U version of this?

Oh I always thought it was the old stadium from the 1964 Olympics in Akira. Looks like they're renovating it for the 2020 Olympics, so maybe I was right and wrong.

This comes across as one of the most ignorant/racist things I've seen in a while. I think you were well intentioned, but you could be trolling for all I know.

GIF compression makes them look like piñatas.

It looks like this is nearing the borders between Zelda inspired and unofficial Zelda fan game. I wouldn't call foul play since the world could use more games in the genre. I do wish they'd been a bit more original though instead of taking so many cues from Zelda.
