He was right, at least from the Scottish/Gaelic side of it. The ‘sith’ in Cait Sith is the same as in Ban Sith, which you might know better with the English respelling ‘banshee’. Ban Sith = ‘ban shee’, Cait Sith = ‘kat shee’.

Yeah but however much swimming may suck, the ability to swim is still better than the alternative of invisible walls that prevent you from entering water.

In the original, you couldn’t breed Chocobos until you got the airship, so its very much looking like they’ll save it for Part 3.

There was one forced encounter where Cloud and Sephiroth fight a dragon. If I remember, you have no control over Sephiroth during it.

Yeah, the clip is pretty hyperbolic but the invisible walls were very noticeable in Remake.

I think the idea is that for this type of game (big AAA Japanese action RPG) you don’t really expect to be able to do something like that. It’s small yeah, but it could be an indication of the philosophy behind the design that is exciting or refreshing.

I think Rousey is actually slightly better because she sounds like she is trying (trying and failing badly) but Fox sounds like she’s mailing it in. It's like Ada Wong bad.

Traditional acting and voice acting are two completely different skill sets. Leave it to the pros and don’t take their work. Let Cristina Vee voice all of her lines.

Amell doing the wisecrack Green Arrow lines in his serious Arrow voice is the most charming thing in the game

Considering the rest of the voice work in the game is so good overall her voice work is even more egregious, it certainly stands out as the worst dialogue in the game. 

Im not even gonna fully blame Megan Fox for this. At the end of the day its NetherRealm and WB that said “yeah this is fine” just like Ronda Rousey in MK11. Megan Fox was terrible yet but it was NRS and WBs responsibility to make sure this never happened in the first place.

Nooooo it’s just genuinely terrible voicework. Even by Mortal Kombat standards. In the campaign it stood out to me for all the wrong reasons, like she just read them off the page at rehearsal and that ended up being the final cut.
