Unlike me. I’m a great loser. I lose even when people think “there’s no way for this guy to lose in this situation”.

So all that just adding up to trying to present himself as the tortured artist, how organisers don’t care about Chess like he does, and how he was doing this guy a favour anyway but most crucially still has no evidence to actually support anything he’s claiming.

sounds like a poor loser

Hey look, someone with common sense stuck in the grays. What a surprise.

The interesting thing about Star Citizen is that your average consumer of video games doesn’t even know it exists and never has. Star Citizen has never, at any point in its development, been a mainstream title with far-reaching recognition.

Star Citizen is a luxury item being sold to a relatively small, but rich,

Look i agree Star Citizen should have been out a while ago, and they have presumably bad management and poor control when it comes to their promises.

Dont bother trying. This article and the commenters are chocked full of misinformation and straight up BS. Birds of a feather I suppose.

Imagine posting this delusional gibberish and expecting not to be laughed at.

The problem with this article is that there is no investigative research done, to ascertain the state of the game, interviews with fans and haters, dives into tech created, tech in development, and tech that’s a pipe dream.

SC isn’t going anywhere and the fact it’s still here and pissing people off brings joy to my heart. It's quite the phenomenon, inside and out.

Star Citizen is using Lumberyard, not developing its own engine. And even then, it does not take 10 years to do so.

simple.  People try the game for free and enjoy it.  Thus they give money it’s as simple as that.

So you all should stop complaining in my opinion. If there’s anything else out there that could compete with star citizen, everyone would be pumping their time and money into that game and not star citizen.

I don’t think it’s a scam. I think Chris Roberts really believes he can fulfill every promise he has made about Star Citizen.

Nobody has been scammed LOL

Ah yes.” So much hate in your eyes...
Feels like you’re so mad you feel compelled to trash that game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I bought a starter ship earlier this year and must say for the $125 I spent on it I definitely got my money’s worth, even in alpha. Lots to do, especially if you have friends or join a corp. Knowing that it will possibly see an actual release with a more developed gameplay loop and story sometime in the future is like

I stuck with them until one month ago. It started as FOMO and then it became a serious sunk-cost fallacy. I’d come this far, you know? And I have a bunch of perks, credits, rental credits, ships etc waiting for me, it’s just not that compelling to play. Anyway, I’m not subscribing any more, and I’ll play the campaign

I was a backer right at the beginning but never really touched it. However, I have seen some videos about the current state of the game. It actually looks quite good. Definitely not a complete game, but there’s enough there to waste a TON of time.

As soon as I get some spare cycles, I intend to install and give it a

Now playing

While it’s hilarious it’s still in Alpha, they’re clearly very successful at delivering a space sim experience that rich people with expensive rigs are having fun throwing money at.
