um he shows up when they attack shinra headquarters, thats before leaving midgar.

he doesnt appear til the ass-end of Midgar in the original, so theres not much point hyping him when he wont be in most of the first game. also i dont think hes disliked, but hes far from a favorite. cloud tifa and aerith are the most popular of the cast by far.

yes we have. all of the characters have different voices. its very very clear from all of the trailers released this year that they recast everyone.

in 97 all 3 parts were sold as one game. if this game is still being split, thats not the case. theyre selling each part as its own full price game not releasing at the same time.
