@computerkid: No, they stated that this isn't a problem and are working on it. I think it's pretty apparent that they simply don't want to support the Windows' platform's rival.

Great news! Still waiting up for Mac support though....
@Relyt: Image fail.
@showbiz2: Still, if you expand it then the size of the tab area goes down. Maybe if the buttons in the address bar took up less space or were integrated into the bar like Safari or Firefox then this would be less of an issue.
The address bar is too small for my liking, as well as not enough room for tabs. Plus, I'm on a Mac so this really isn't even an option.
@triplecheeseburger: Yes, no dumb phone can stand up to Nokia's. I used to own one and it was great, especially with a cheap price. The battery lasted forever and no matter how much abuse it recieved, it never broke or died.
Yet people already in America do far worse things, and instead of being deported are kept in government buildings within the country (jails).
@amazingmao: On second look, immersiveness is better fit than realism.
@JayhawkJake: I agree on point one - although I'm sure something will come up it won't totally be totally accurate. As for point 2, I haven't even thought of that.
Many said the public would not buy the iPhone and other new touch-based devices because of no tactile feedback, but look at how popular these touch-based interfaces are today. Although I like tactile buttons, touchscreens added many new opportunities for mobile devices.
I was never really interested at all. More money thrown away for not much gain is one of the worst buying decisions that one can make.
The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeal, at their craziness yet again.
@Ko0lHaNDLuKe: I just hooked up my IM client to work with Facebook. I use Adium, but it also works with iChat and supposedly Trillian.
Frankly I'm surprised this hasn't already been implemented - with Zune it's been around so I guess I'm used to that. Either way, a priceless feature.
@EvanSei (lord of the gerbils): I wholeheartedly agree with you, but many of the founding fathers would applaud this decision. Washington was a hardcore government-expander and didn't believe the people should possess a lot of power. Jefferson, however, would be incredibly angry.
I'm more into that hat than anything else in this post. So classy.
@balcis: I think what he's saying is in certain situations, such as this, the vertical buttons would make the window larger.
@sigurrosuntitled: It's probably just for looks and the contest.
@johnpooley3: True, true.
"Happy Labor Day" is an oxymoron. Labor Day is a celebration of unions and such, which didn't bring joy back in the day. Even today, unions don't really fit in the US. They belong in countries with more developing workforces, like China.
