As long as they improved the damn handling. That's the only problem I had with the Mako, was the fact it handled like crap.

Well said. It's a shame that early adopters are generally looked down upon in the games industry. Those that want to support a system are seen as the bad people. And those cheering from the sidelines are better people - however that works.

I'm buying it and waiting for JRPG's.. honestly.. nothing at launch is that enticing to me. Though.. since I know I will be buying one within the year, I may as well enjoy the launch hype and have fun with it. :)

There have been a few high profile examples of them breaking street dates in previous years, but never for something as major as a new video game console that I know of. I'd be absolutely shocked if they messed up like that, simply because it'd get them into an unbelievable amount of trouble with sony.
