This is Destiny's big, expensive E3 trailer. I dunno. The more I see of this game, the less it looks like its "cowboys in post-apocalyptic space" concept art it debuted with.

This is cool and all, but uuuuughhhrfff... I was REALLY, REALLY hoping for a new Rayman or Beyond Good and Evil 2... or at least something fresh and interesting, not ANOTHER damn gritty shooter.
Ehhh. Wasn't really feeling it. All the games we already were expecting and knew were coming got an ample amount of exposure, but all the brand new upcoming stuff that I was actually looking forward to? Little more than snippets, teasers and vague conceptual footage. EA was guilty of this as well.
Man, I was getting hyped for HELICOPTER BURNOUT... or... anything Burnout.
Managed to sign up for the PS4 beta right after the announcement was made. Here's to hoping.

SUPER! MACHO! MAAAAN!
The only real use it would have is in Doubles/Triples. Lightning Rod attracts ALL electric attacks towards the Pokemon who has it, regardless of who used it on who (and boosts the recipient's special attack), this extends to the always popular Thunder Wave.
I'm not saying they're BAD, per-say, but when you factor in that the other Megas have badass abilities like Parental Bond, Shadow Tag, Huge Power, Speed Boost, Aerialate, etc, it makes these two look a bit underwhelming.
The Chicken Man is viable in Ubers for a reason, especially when he goes mega.
I know, right? They nerf the hell out of weather, and then they give Mega Swampert an ability that only activates in the rain. Lightning Rod isn't the worst, but it's pretty situational. Unless they get incredible stat boosts, I highly doubt they'll be worth the mega slot. :P
Aw man. I was expecting something more like these:
According to Serebii, Mega Sceptile is a Grass/Dragon type Pokemon and will have the "Lightning Rod" ability. Mega Swampert will retain his typing, but will have the "Swift Swim" ability.
I know. If I wanted epic bubble popping action, I'd warm up Bust-A-Move 4 on my Vita. I've tried many of these replica games that take from the same formula, but none of them can top the originals.
- it's even relatively free
Going a bit backwards here, Squenix.
Hype... going into overdrive.
Bitch, please. THIS GAME is "Tetris Ultimate" in my book. If there's no equivalent Blast mode in Ubisoft's upcoming iteration, then I'll have to refer to that as "Tetris Subpar".
