Probably because - this is just a thing for me, personally - Mario Kart is starting to feel a bit "ho hum", you know? I mean, yeah each new iteration makes some sort of effort to change things up a bit, be it through some form of customization or varying terrain, but it just feels like none of the newer Mario Karts…
I'm cautiously optimistic, but ultimately, I'll be waiting to see the first impressions and reviews as the deciding factor as to whether or not I'll pick this game up at launch, DLC bonuses be damned.
