I'm pretty sure when it's the news, a different set of ethical rules apply. Think about all of the times a senator, police chief, or whoever the hell else is shown trying (and failing) to cover up their face with a jacket or sport coat.
Imagine if you ended up on the news with a camera in your face because the cops showed up to a party you were at for being in possession of a pill or ANYTHING else. This just seems fucked in all sorts of ways.
