You mean the Sleeper Simulant?

Dark Cloud and Super Mario RPG references? Perfect.

Yo dawg, I heard you like knees...

And shotguns. And Stormtrance.

The difference being that there are multiple ways to tackle Dark Souls bosses and really only one way to beat each level like this.

“Go to Cargo Bay.”

“The Grey Demon was great. You could shoot him and shoot him, and he wouldn’t fall down. Not like...Carl...”

...the asshole twentysomething who snarks his way through every interaction.

So Bernie playing Larry David playing Bernie? Sounds familiar...

1. I do agree that not accounting for player momentum when throwing grenades and firing weapons with bullet travel times is frustratingly unintuitive. That and the inconsistency of “bouncy” grenades on various surfaces. The lag is also frustrating but a whole different sort of problem.

Walling off parts of a game until a player has completed other portions of it is a form of digital rights management.

Yeah...shotguns...one-shot (no crit) from 9 feet away? Return them to pre-buff levels in PvP. Or nerf to require crits for OHKO. Or make running require a readying pause before firing like jumping does (which seems backwards to me anyways). Something needs to be done.

As I mentioned yesterday, supers have become the defining aspect of a given match of Destiny PvP...

I’m a bit ambivalent, too. Having an ordered structure allows for logical story and mechanical (tutorial/complexity) progression, but some people don’t care about that, and some games don’t do it well.

Wrong reference here. This ONLY pertains to a fielder playing BATTED ball. Tejada was not fielding a batted ball, but a thrown ball.

...puzzles that are too hard for any one player to figure out on their own.
