5pb worked on Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate (two sci-fi visual novels) as well as the Corpse Party series (japanese horror), and was a part of Bravely Default as well as a few other lesser known games.

Well, given Bravely Default isn't out yet in the states and the 3DS is region locked it sorta makes sense it wouldn't make the list.

If they like JRPGS then DO let them know that Dangan Ronpa, Project Diva f, Y's Celceta, and most likely FFX/FFX-2 will be coming out soon-ish* and that it's region-free (just a PITA to switch back and forth).
