I've noticed that Virgin Mobile users in other countries get a really nice, while here in the States we get a pretty lame selection. I have the Evo V, which is one of Virgin's best phones (aside from the 4S) but I can't do much with it in regards to modding.

For those of us that have Virgin's HTC Evo V, can we use either of these guides? It's got the 3D camera and 4G access and even has the Sprint logo on the front, but I've read that rooting the V requires a different process and the ROMs for the 4G and 4G LTE ones won't really work.
