Yeah, my girlfriend has been playing catchup, so we’ve been working our way through season 2, and it’s just such a contrast between him and Patty, and him and Iris.

Sigh, I miss Patty.

I read it as the end of the X1/2/3 continuity. That timeline ended up being erased by DoFP (and good riddance to X3 and Wolvie: Origins), and I think this is basically showing the ending of that now-erased timeline. It was also definitely a sendoff to the best parts of that timeline: Xavier and Logan.

I’m pretty sure I’m enjoying this show, but by god, I am exhausted by the end of it every week. I feel like I’m paying so much attention to what’s going on, and being jerked around so much, that I’m overworking.

I’m feeling the same. My gaming time has gone way down over the past couple years, so I don’t have a WiiU. I’m drooling over this game, though, and I could totally play the Switch on the train/at work (gonna have to get another charging cable...).
