what’s truly insane to me is that game freak dropped legends: arceus earlier this year and not even a year later the studio came out with scarlet and violet. that tight development would undoubtedly lead to some issues with the game

It’s got nothing to do with hardware and everything to do with the Gamefreak team being horrible at building a game engine. They’ve had performance issues for multiple games now, just none that were this severe.

Skies of Arcadia is and will probably always be my favorite game of all time. RIP, Kodama-san. Your works will forever live on with those of us lucky enough to have experienced them.

This looks intriguing, but also looks like yet another JRPG full of white dudes. There is surprisingly little diversity in the cast they’ve shown thus far. You’d think that with multiple kingdoms they showed in the video that they could easily justify a more widely varied look to each kingdom’s population.

Still bummed about the lack of party members. Don’t love how relentlessly dark it looks, either. Also that’s a lot of dudes.

The graphics definitely look great, though. 

See this I find a little weird, and not in the outrage sense, but the article about Adriana Chechik makes zero mention of her being a (technically still active) pornstar, while this article constantly mentions Sasha’s porn career even though she is over a decade removed from it. I dunno, it kind of rubbed me (hah!)…
