An all-in-one tablet isn’t what the Switch is trying to be. It’s a gaming system. If you wanted something like a tablet then by all means buy a tablet. Tablets are a multi-tool like cellphones and can be used for various things. They also have data plans now that could accomodate those things like on the go streaming…

An item infinitely more important than a gaming system that would have those streaming apps people are screaming for and a data plan that could actually utilize those apps on the go?…

You haven’t seen how hardcore fans of games like Stardew Valley can be. That’s a fairly casual game by the definitions you’ve brought up but the community says otherwise.

Like you said everything else already has streaming apps including previous Nintendo consoles and your phone. Why would they need to add it again on the Switch? But wouldn’t people who have iOS buy the game anyway whether it was on android or not? If so then why not do the android release the same time, still get the money from the iOS customers and the added revenue from the android customers who would buy the game legitimately?

Releasing it on android won’t stop people from pirating it but it won’t stop people who legitimately want to buy it from buying it either so that’s not a reason for a delayed release. And the money would still be there from the iOS people.

I wish the android version had a same day release.

Of course. That’s good storytelling and makes the game worthwhile. That being said I don’t think I can handle the feels that may or may not happen (though I’m sure it’ll lean towards may). I mean I’m gonna play it but I’ll be sad about it.

I started playing for a bit. Then I got to the point in the beginning where feels happened and I had to stop for a bit. Then I never touched it again. 10/10 would play again before the sequel.
