I took a break from the game for a bit. How'd they nerf the champ trains?

That's one big hallway to download.
It reminds me of Global Astroliner Gou from Studio 4C's Amazing Nuts DVD
The grinding didn't really stand out for me. If anything else, I was too busy maxing out all my job levels that by the time I finished I was almost max level. As for the 2nd half of the story it did feel like a bit of a slog but what pushed me through were the conversations between the different bosses that interacted…
It's not slated on his IMDB but I wouldn't be surprised. Marc Evan Jackson is a great actor with outstanding improv skills.
If you're talking about Bruce's father that's Marc Evan Jackson. One of the leading actors in a podcast/live stage show called Thrilling Adventure Hour. In fact, everyone in the video is a cast member of TAH.
Don't forget John Ennis as Alfred. He's pretty much a staple on the Captain Laserbeam segments as Tyler the henchman and Carter Caldwell, lifelong bachelor, on Beyond Belief.
Of course. They're the ones who don't actually fix your plumbing problems and charge you triple what normal plumbers do.
But the villain in the first season wasn't just Kayaba. It was the whole game. They needed to fight towards the top floor in order to escape. The ever looming threat of death was present in nearly every episode. That's the urgency. Even in the Alfheim arc you had Sugou as a constant threat to Asuna. They definitely…
Yeah I'm glad they're finally doing stuff in the game but it's still a bit slow for my tastes. In 6 episodes you see Death Gun in the beginning of the first and then the 6th. That's 2 appearances lasting maybe 2 minutes after 25% of the series. Weak stuff when he's supposed to be the villain and main driving force for…
Slow isn't bad if the action is paced the right way. That way it keeps itself from stagnating. But with SAO II we get long periods of nothing happening followed by a minute of progress or plot. Alfheim was ok except for focusing too much with the sister, the super disturbing scenes with Asuna and Sugou, and the fact…
Seems to be a common feeling among SAO watchers.
That's understandable. He reminds me of how Heero Yuy was from Gundam Wing except Inaho hasn't fallen on his head yet. I think Slaine also works well as a counterbalance to his personality. Slaine is definitely emotional but not always capable in the battlefield. Also, I like the idea of the protags being severely…
I'm imagining it's trying to spread a short lightnovel out over the course of 12-24 episodes. I really do wish they created a better sense of urgency or tension. Even the villain seems to have taken some time off after the first episode.
I disagree with the choice of SAO II. The first 6 episodes just dragged for me. I'm not sure if the pacing is intentionally slower or just that the sense of urgency has disappeared but I'm pretty disappointed in it. Aldnoah Zero, on the other hand, has been absolutely fantastic. It gives of that Gundam feel without…
So we're in agreement that everything that happened is your fault. Thanks for fully waking another dragon, MalyChief.
Quality Face Off reference.
I believe so, yes. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0227759…
