You make a good point about the dearth of female and minority led Marvel properties. Black Panther is the first venture into film and they hadn’t done in on television until Agent Carter and Jessica Jones debuted in 2015.

Who cares if their doing daring this poorly? Marvel’s uninterrupted string of successes gave them an opportunity to have an entire movie about a US minority super hero in Africa. They also will have a solo-female superhero movie within the next 18 months. How many solo minority movies will DC have by then? Spoiler…

Lol how are BvS and Suicide Squad daring? BvS was bo-rang and Suicide Squad was a terrible GotG rip off. Rhodey was a fantastic minority character starting all the way back in Iron Man 1. The first Marvel Studios movie.
