I saw a guy in Trader Joe’s, Sunday morning at 9am (yes, I am a noted square) with a fucking gun on the belt of his sweatpants. Trader Joe’s, where I live, at that time, is pretty much empty, and he looked like he rolled out of bed otherwise.

This is sad on so many levels. A little girl is dead, she was killed in front of her siblings, and then one of them was blamed for it at first. I’m so tired of hearing about how gun owners are so responsible, when these tragedies happen all the time.

Until we start treating these shootings as something other than “accidents,” they will continue. This man should be charged with second degree murder.
