The B-17G “Lacey Lady” which was acquired as surplus after WW2 and used like so:

This is my 2013 MINI’s setup, a pair of chromed metal tips that hug the pipes fairly closely and seem to be as much as a heat guard as cosmetic. I don’t mind them. At least they are round. I rarely bother cleaning them, certainly not as often as I clean the whole car.

There is no comparison. It looks so much better than the Miata.

I was stopped by some white van guys in a strip mall parking lot when I was in highschool, around 1992 or so. I was driving a beat-up 1987 Pontiac Grand Am that was probably worth less than whatever they had in the van. I politely declined so I never even took a look to see what they had.

He should be able to contemplate his pain while spending the 5 or so decades in prison.

My Home Depot has Cree 60 watt equivalent dimmable LEDs for 97¢ each! I bought a bunch last night. Great buy.

Interesting. I’m in the ‘burbs about 25 miles NW of Philadelphia and all of the Wawa locations around here have 93. Even Giant sells 93 at their stations.

Frightfully sorry for that typo. It’s “Stewart.”

We’re friendly. Wave, Stewert.

“Strongly disciplined.” Hah. Every single student involved in this racist-spewing horseshit should be expelled.

More like, “It’s a heritage of hate.”

As an aside, while it is important to note that “tanks” are armored vehicles with heavy armor, tracks and a turret mounting its main weapon, there was an exception: the now-retired Swedish Stridsvagn 103 which was considered a main battle tank despite its lack of a turret:

And I bet most of those same people could not find Kenya on an unmarked map (or a marked one, for that matter).

The show’s creator, Joel Hodgson, once said, “We never say, ‘Who’s gonna get this?’ We always say, ‘The right people will get this.’”

Yep. People conveniently forget how Batman also used aircraft-mounted guns and rockets, strafing a street, killing the Joker’s henchmen and trying (but failing) to shoot the Joker himself:

The TIEs have a pair of small thrusters at the rear of the cockpit ball. The real question is, how do any of these spacecraft fly in atmosphere? I imagine we can chalk it up to a wide use of antigravity technology. There are any number of floating, flying vessels in the Star Wars universe and atmospheric flight

I need a large poster of this!

Looking good! I’ve replaced most of the chrome on my car with black trim. I’ve yet to do the beltline and I have handle covers on order. Still not decided what to do about the scuttles.

I saw a Pearl White Coupe S the other day and I rather like it! I like my black stripes, but the vinyl is taking a beating since I got the car in December 2012. It’s been garaged the last year or so, but there are water spots all over the vinyl and it is very difficult to remove them and not damage the vinyl. At some

Wow, those helmets don’t look ridiculous at all.
