My battery seems to have sudden drop-offs when it is below 35% or so. One minute I'm there and the next the phone is shutting down. As soon as I plug it in to charge, it suddenly pops back up to 25-30% or so. It's also happening inconsistently.

So this headline still hasn't been fixed, hm? Sloppy.

Right on. There is no baseball cap. It's a separate roof spoiler that sits behind the curved roof. I don't understand how people are not seeing this.

I do agree that the black roof looks better than the others, which is part of the reason I went with that. I've never liked white/silver or other colors on other MINIs unless it was the same as the body color.

But that car is not the car I want. The attention-grabbing wasn't something I'd even thought about at the time when I bought it, it's just a nice benefit.
