With only seconds to spare
A GTI Sportwagen would be the greatest vehicle ever created. Curse you VW for not building it. >:|
Yes, we’re paying more for automobiles then ever before, but we’re now getting potentially-lifesaving features that make up for it. (Also, may of those safety features come only on top model trims, thus further increasing our purchase price.) I’d rather have a higher monthly car payment than, well, be dead. My hope…
Only one reason to take a 7 year new car loan, you’re actually going to pay it off in a 3 or 5 years but the 7 year has a lower interest rate than the 3 or 5 year loan.
Well, since 2005 Nissan design was better than 2019 Nissan design, maybe that’s a good thing.
I miss my ‘98 Maxima SE I bought a couple of years ago from the original owner with 56k miles (!!!) on the clock for my teens to drive. What a great car. Then some a-hole hit me on the freeway, spun me out into a big rig (almost went under his trailer, RIP) and totaled the thing. Bye bye unicorn. Nissan really had it…
Nissan front end designs have sucked forever, but that Patrol nose looks MUCH better than the Armada.
+1. And the corner seating??? Looks super uncomfortable. Hope you don’t mind interlocking knees with the person next to you.
Dumb design overall. Futuristic silliness. The rectangular steering “wheel” is absurd. And the view from the driver seat to the front windshield looks like its 10 feet long. “Hey, I can almost see the road up there in the distance!”
POLESTAR IN REBEL BLUE METALLIC!!
“Thrilling” is the word repeatedly used by Jan Ramqvist to describe how he felt about participating in a nationwide mission to get all Swedish motorists and cyclists to change the habits of a lifetime and begin driving on the right-hand side of the road for the first time.
I’d be content with just a GTI Sportwagen.
The Giulia seems to be a reliability trainwreck at this point in time.
Does the $25k include a flatbrim and a vape pen standard?
Beautiful paint, but not red enough. Still screams Camry/Accord to me. NEEDS MOAR RED!
Sedans are the most useless of 4-door vehicle formats. Ever since I went wagon in 2010 (Jetta Sportswagen), I realized what a silly thing a “trunk” is. Not to mention no rear window wiper. And no roof rails.
Cool story, but my 2010 JSW TDI went 110k flawless miles before the buyback. Most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. And I’ve owned several Hondas.
“If they bring it here, I’ll absolutely lease one. I’d never own one, due to the aforementioned massive depreciation”
I always opt for a manual transmission when I can, but I couldn’t for my most recent vehicle purchase (buyback ‘13 Jetta Sportwagen TDI). I have to say the DCT (or in this case, DSG) is quite amazing. Unbelievably smooth and always seems to get the right gear at the right time.
