I'm still a bit shocked at how perfectly this all has gone. Odyssey was in the perfect spot to get the shot of it parachuting down. Even got the heat shield too. Everything pretty much went as planned. The skycrane worked perfectly. Got pictures back as soon as it landed. It's really just the definition of awesome.

I have to say this is one of the best opening ceremonies I have watched. Though I wish I would have watched it on BBC so I didn't have to listen to the horrible American announcers.....

I seriously can't agree with you more. Changing the actual premise of something like this is a huge disservice.

But this was the trap that Eureka fell into. They really never got away from the "science gone awry" problem of the week. That is the main reason they finally ended it. It wasn't growing. Sure they had the drama and such, but it always had that "uh oh, something's gone wrong with this thing" problem in the forefront.

New 52 Aquaman is definitely an excellent read. I was enjoying the hell out of it before I had to stop buying to save money.
