Courts determine issues of both fact and law. In this case, its almost certainly going to be up to only to the judge, since there is only a material disagreement as to what the LAW allows. No one is contesting any factual issues.

A lot of people feel (IMHO, wrongly) that a PD won't give them the passion, hard work, singular focus, and intimate knowledge of the case.
But yet, debate about slavery, suffrage, and integration was allowed in schools
Not for a government. Governments should not oppose any ideology. Nazis should be given the same access to protest permits as MADD, because that's really the core of 1stA.
Hey Fuck stick. I support rapists, murderers, and Nazis having jury trials. That makes me pro-civil rights, not pro-criminal. If you can't see the analogy between these than you are actually comically dumb.
Because she is on Active Duty still. Part of being on active duty is having Tricare, the medical insurance that the military provides by mandate of Congress.
Its her insurance, not yours/
Just proof that they are treating her like the rest of us!
For comparison. I waited 8 years for braces. That included 3 times being in the chair ready for the procedure when the Navy Doc changed his mind
Statute of limitations are a quintessential part of due process. Witness testimony, alibis, and hundreds of other facts have a limited shelf life. In fact, eye witnesses are more likely to identify just about anyone of the same race as the criminal the longer after the crime they are asked to testify. However,…
No, the statue of limitations starts when the crime (or tortious act) was discovered or discoverable (unless the victim is a minor, in which it begins to run when he/she is no longer a minor). For crimes, the moment of discover is normally the moment of the crime (although law school exams love to tweak the facts…

I know a lot about guns, and have taught their use to plenty of police officers on three continents, but I am not a cop.
There are really no ways to shoot a real life disabling shot with a pistol. Like maybe 10% of the population could do it on a range, against paper and 1% in a controlled stage with a moving target.…

I love unions, enough to have refused to cross picket lines even when non-unionized, but its this type of rhetoric that causes union membership to drop. Unions serve the same function for labor that lobbyists, PR firms, and chambers of commerce serve to corporations, to zealously advocate in government and the…
Rent is tax-favored as hell, so I am more curious about total compensation, not form of.
Healthcare, babysitting, retirement plans, life insurance, Long-term disability insurance, employee discounts, etc.
Also, Obama's flippant answer about boats and bayonents was shockingly tone deaf and out of touch. Marines are still issued, and carry . . . and use bayonets. Additionally the mothballing of US battleships (vessels used in every war since WWII) in anticipation of a littoral combat ship that never arrived to the…
But we do put them on firearm purchases, which is incidental to a right clearly enumerated in the constitutional and not through a penumbra. Hard to make the case that 3 days is an undue burden when 10 days is not.
