The Academies always give me the creeps. It seems like it consists of telling privileged people with no understanding of honor and duty that they are God's gift to democracy, the free world, and manliness. Its too often the academy grads that prioritize the welfare of their branch of service over the welfare of

To be fair, I just randomly Googled SMJMC Barret (the bald man's name) and that's what came up. There is a government hosted link both on Youtube and marines.mil that have tens of thousands of views. However, the video and the sentiments are not nearly as widely dispersed as they should be.

Now playing

As a veteran, I would take it one step further and suggest that outside an actual combat zone (as in, an actual combat zone; not the DoD's weird definition of a combat zone to include any officers way out of the line of fire), the command should be fully taken out of military justice. Too often the command either

I live in the Bay Area in Norcal. I just tire of CA, a state that is FAR from perfect, looking down on the rest of the country, despite the failing k-12 system, a prison system way out of control, a death penalty, poor roads, no same sex marriage, a higher than average poverty rate, and a high crime rate. I am not

If I had to guess, Nevada.

Just to amplify this complaint, there are more than twice as many male state supreme court justices [or their equivalent]as female (230 to 105). Although, the states differ on how much actual impact state supreme courts have on ethic rules and adjudications having the final say on disbarment being so demographically

For the one person out there who cares:

State by state, the rules for having sex with a client differ.

I am actually pro- most of government stamps of approval being a voluntary process, to include a large part of the FDA and the USDA. However, the issue is that uncertified goods will eventually be cheaper, meaning that the poor will be more at risk for food-borne pathogens.

However, as Doug cleverly fails to explain,

What happens if they want an abortion, but still want access to good schools and an affordable way of life?

Cheat Sheet: CA's schools, roads, and tax burdens are almost comically bad, ranking in the bottom 5 nationally.

I very infrequently had sex with someone that I didn't have real, serious feelings for. However, those feelings weren't always love. Even when they were, only a few times was it the kind of lovey feelings that I expected to last.

I come from a warm, loving, expressive family and got plenty of hugs, but I am the least emotionally-driven person in the world. I think its because I worked for most of my life in a job where acting on my emotions could be fatal for me or other, but honestly, I've never really been "hot-tempered".

Glad I could help. I agree that a fixation on bedroom behavior is shortsighted. The most obvious example is that President Clinton was castigated for it from the right, even though he was arguably the best President for the Republican Party in half a century (e.g. Don't Ask Don't Tell, DOMA, NAFTA, balanced budget,

I think there are two issues that should have made his philandering history fatal to a reelection.

I like Ms. Colbert Busch I was hoping she won for both political and moral reasons. However, this was nowhere near a close race. This is approaching landslide territory.

Agreed that nonwhites of working class can't blend nearly as easily, but it seems ridiculous to fault working class whites from trying to fit in. That's the problem with a public shaming of people on the internet without their knowledge or consent. You project your narrative on their life, not their own.

To replace assumptions with facts, the Prize Committee, it appears was comprised of:

Even assuming that you are correct, and the choice of one hue is a matter of style and the choice of another is a conscious subscription to an identity, there is some truth to the phrase "dress for the job you want, not the job you have."

If the salmon-wearing cabal runs the world, I am not sure you can fault young,

I agree, there are plenty of drugs that were RX that turned out to be safe OTC, Claritin being the first example that comes to mind. However, in that case, the formula was stabilized from five different versions, chosen by a doctor depending on weight, age, and geographic region, into two universal formulas.

Same reason most drugs are RX only. It takes a lot of skill to property prescribe, dose, mix, and monitor chemicals that seriously change your internal chemistry and morphology. Depending on the form of birth control and the state of your general health, the wrong dosage can be fatal.

I think she was definitely railroaded by an unfair legal system (which, IMHO, is sufficient to require an requital regardless of guilt). As for actual guilt, I think there is little to no evidence for it.
