Malfunctions can occur on any car.. You can be lucky or unlucky and I've had my fair share of bad luck with all sorts of cars.. Anyway, when you can shell 30 to 40 grand on a car like one of these two(instead of a much more practical Hyundai Tucson/ix35), you can afford the servicing.

Yup.. for practicality.. Golf all the way.. but for everything else, the Mini is better. I just hope practicality will be improved with the newer and bigger 5door alternative.

The Mini Cooper S beats the GTI in my opinion.. It has a different vibe to it and it looks better(I can't wait to see the 5door which will most likely compete with the GTI).. I've heard and seen a Cooper S a week ago and the sound it made was mental for such a small car..

I agree with your argument on the S65 4door, but this is a new model that makes up for an entirely new brand (S-Coupe) and V12 AMG coupes are rarer than V12 AMG limos.. Prove me wrong..
