Indeed. And it’s quite sad, because on the innovation and features front, Microsoft really worked their ass off since then. Backward compatibility, special controllers, play anywhere program, stream to PC, Game Pass program, etc... But yeah, their launch was probably one of the most disastrous launch I’ve ever seen in

And all that is fine. Everyone’s different and everyone has different reasons for appreciating things. And I was in the same boat as you for many years actually. But you know, life changes and we all change too. I’m not pursuing the “best” thing out there anymore and I don’t feel like I’m wasting my time if I play an

I’m at a funny point in my life. I don’t see the point anymore of going above what we already have for the sake of it. What I mean, is I don’t see the point of, as an example, 4K resolution (HDR is different though). I don’t see the point of all these little graphical details that I don’t notice anyways because

PC gaming has never been easier.

The true title of this article should’ve been “Fallout 76's [insert anythjing related to it here] Has Not Had A Good Launch

And that is perfectly fine too. I was actually like that some years ago too. But life changes, and came a point in my life where I realized that thinking if one game would get me more fun than another is just meaningless stress that I don’t need to live with. The notion of “less fun than” or “more fun than” has become

I still remember the conference MS did when they unveiled the Xbox One, and I swear that I thought at first it was a boosted TV box first, with game capabilities on the side. The conference was all, TV, TV, TV, Sports, picture in picture to let you watch TV while playing, Call of Duty has a dog. And that was it. Pretty

...we are now in the phase where Bethesda is trying to convince people to give them extra money for nothing.

I think it depends on your mindset towards games. I personnaly went from how mostly every videogame fan acts, which is, feeling you HAVE to play all those exclusive games that looks even remotely interesting, to a mindset that puts ME, not the games, at the center of the equation.

This is a perfect example of how fonts are important for the look and feel of anything. I find that in a lot of modern games these days, the choice of font contributes greatly to their lack of personality, or lack of soul. Square Enix is one of the worst offenders here. It just makes these games look “cheap”.

That was my reaction too. I mean, sure, this is only like 40 seconds, but everything in there look generic as hell and if this was the only thing to base my decision to eventually watch it or not, this would definitely not go into my watchlist.

I think the specified size is the box size it is shipped in. If you look at the videos on the page, it’s about the same size as an old iPod shuffle. Maybe slightly bigger.

Have you looked at this solution? (Mpow Bluetooth Receiver and Transmitter)

Given that I’m holding my Switch right in front of me when I play, I don’t really get why I should spend money into a wireless solution. I’ve never been bothered that much with cables, and, as a bonus, a good cable will usually get you higher sound quality than a wireless headset (although the importance of this for a

Yep, that’s it. And it’s still something that I’m also sick of. Simply because it’s actually gotten worse since then.

It reminds me of something somewhat related that the late George Carlin once said about the relation we often have with words. Not in his exact wording, but I remember he was saying that people somehow believe that changing the word actually changes the condition they’re referring to.

Cool. But I have the same functionality with my current setup without having to get a service like Stadia. With my PC and Steam remote play, I can play on any TV, phone or tablet in the house, and I have a Switch too that I can undock and take anywhere I want. And all of this work without relying on an internet

Netflix doesn’t allow you to buy movies individually. You pay, you get access to everything it has. That’s not the same thing with Stadia.

I still have an original Gameboy at home. And a GBA SP. People tend to forget how awful these screens were. We’ve been playing with very nice devices with nice screens since quite some time already. Playing these old GB devices feels like when you start playing a VHS tape. We all remember those being fine back in the

I know. I get it. I get that it’s incredible to have this on a known, widely supported device.
