Agreed. It is a documentary about nature, which has its highs and lows. It's very well done though and (spoiler alert), 501 lives and thrives.

If you visit further south, San Diego has a restaurant called Brockton Villa where you can get delicious french toast ("Coast Toast") for $9 and watch sea lions and otters frolic in the Pacific. Otters are rare in that area but they can be spotted.
