I’m gonna say it’s the same rate as the current battery for the sake of the charger. If it does with the higher density then expect battery reload times to be proportionally longer. Instead of say a one hour 20-80 expect it to be an hour and a half.

The base S versus a 5/6 series or anything else in its price catagory makes it REALLY show its faults. With a Tesla you are paying for things below and behind the dash much like a Corvette.  You get the bang for the buck at the low end.  The high end is where you get outclassed.

Got into an eTron. Never wanted to get out. The new Q7 and Q8 are fantastic.  The hybrid assist version set to come out later are gonna be about perfect.  For now i’ll settle with my 3 year lease on the etron.  stunning interior and the size is about perfect for me right now.
