Disney should do a live action version of this and NOT the Lion King.

Toyota wanted the ea$y way out on it so they just handed BMW a check for a platform and drivetrain.
It’s all fun and games till impact regulations enforce a fugly front end.
A friend made a generator for his house that is powered by the weight of his car. He pulls up the ramp for the night and the front of the truck starts to fall. Its geared to spin a large flywheel that is geared to a generator that charges the house battery. He drives in reverse up the ramp to leave the house. It is…
So... a mess of mid production blanks.
Kinda like that but stationary. Also that is easy to do with some track and cars and a bit of throttling.
The stripped out fleet only trim levels they offer to rental fleets will retain their name. Also the soon-to-be K5 isn’t their flagship.
Using a rental as a litmus test for a future car purchase is a bad move in any case.
The Kia Forte has a K3 badge on its upper trim models and is known as the K3 The Optima has a K5 trim badging as well. I’ts not too far of a jump for the company to name their cars K3 and K5 and just drop the naming portion.
It’s also a better way to denote the larger and up market cars from the smaller ones.

a flooded fiero would rival the mail truck in rust per inch.
At that point just get a wired connection and use something like this to hook the car directly to the grid from below without needing the added weight and cost of a wireless charging system.
The distance from the coils in the car and the coils in the ground is a BIG issue that the tech has to overcome as well as demanding proper positioning of units. the “crab walk” feature never allowed for a thigh enough turning to be any easier or simpler then the traditional steering. What would be fun is if the tires could all turn out and the car could do a zero turn spin of sorts to actually help wit the parallel parking.
Seems like the setup seams so that the rear pivot opposite the front. Unsure if they have a decoupling mechanic tied to say first gear where they stay stationary at higher speeds.
As long as it’s not an “idea pile” like the Aztec is/was.
Considering GM it’s gonna ether be a high end brand where they do things right and it works til “initial quality” doesn’t batter anymore, or its gonna be a parts bin special.
It’s kinda nuts how far their warranty reaches. You can supplement it with a secondary in house one up to a bumper to bumper coverage for the warranty period.
That rather simple math was done mentally in the past. Say a known time interval between building A and building B was 12 seconds. Someone going by in 6 seconds would be outright noticeable and mean they were going double the pace limited by law. if they were going 8 seconds instead of 12 that would be about 65% over…
