There must exist a timeline where GM took 2 of these and stuck them together to make a V8 and used that over the LS series.

Just have the dealerships pull them off and make SURE they remove them before POS
It’s fixable. However GM only has a year on their paint warranty. It’s total garbage. Bonus since it’s not considered a “defect” it’s not covered.
The Dealership to correct it needs to blend in the fenders and quarters as well as hood and trunk/lift gate to fix it.
Kinda shocked they didn’t wanna do that and invoice…
Excuse me sir. That is the down market rate for the air bags. For this new one you will need to replace everything from the seat backs and up on the vehicle.
*soory*
Got an automotive glass company that would LOVE one of these to act as a test then probably get a few more if they prove well. Same for the parts delivery services around here. Hell a daily driver of this or it turned into a limo would be amazing as well. Currently its the extended Sprinter/Transit vans used but they…
I can’t wait for the thing to drop all the airbags when it catches a loose rock or a rut and wobbles a bit mid maneuver.
Most manufacturers are bad at this Toyota seems to be the forerunner in doing it wrong tho. Check the paint options that cost extra. they are the worst ones for it. GM with their metallic red and pearl whites as well as Toyota with any three stage paint.
A bit of lexan and a center beam on that rear Escort hatch should prove better then nothing on that. As for the sides. A bit of the shrink wrap vinyl should prove a quick and simple way to close that out. Just add a few more cross braces to close out the curve and keep the shape.
Hay now. GM’s painting process leads to 7-11 different hues on the same paint color across a lot. Take a good look at most of the bumpers and trim pieces and notice they are a different color then the rest of the car.
They mix too large of a batch and it starts settling mid product run so by the time they end the last…
IO’m all for GM making their vehicles look unique across the lineup instead of the same slightly ugly generic mess they have now across their lineup.
Their trucks however. straight to the wall.
Looks like they couldn’t make it cheap enough so they ripped the face off.

The Capri as well.
At least Dodge shoved the Avenger upon the high risk loan masses.
The X is a minivan at best. It even has sliding rear doors.
Hmmm
TLDR. Late 90's to 2000's Chrysler product has most rubber and plastic shot to hell. Paint is crap, body is dodgy.
Can’t wait to hear of all the electrical shorts going on as the brittle wire harness bounces around more.
P.S. that quarter is sucked in and the door is bent out. That rear door likely isn’t the original.…
Or panels that don’t let rain water in or wind to the point of blowing around the cabin with the AC off.
It’s cold enough to impact batteries charge capacity and run a power sapping heater the whole time. Not as much as negative temps but still enough to see a detriment.
Sit in the drivers seat of a school bus. Then have someone walk towards the bus that’s the height of the accord. Take note when you are seated and cant see them anymore. It’s about 7-10 feet. It’s why school buses have that crossing bar in the front.
Now make that same setup in something with a taller hood with a…
