Are y’all really not aware that these exaggerated design sketches are a totally normal thing? This isn’t something totally wacky that VW just started doing, every car concept starts as a sketch like this to showcase the design.

Ignoring dealer markups? One reason would be if I’m buying a BMW (and you are) I want the BMW dealership experience. I don’t want to buy from Chad who sells Camrys at MSRP all day to geriatrics while offering me a beat Corolla loaner during a service visit.

The average internet automotive enthusiast doesn't buy new cars.

$50K for a model 86 King Size is considered “reasonable”—are you effing kidding me? Inline six, Karmann Ghia-ish lumpy styling, and can be easily mistaken for an 86 or BRZ.

I worry this same cost cutting is coming for Jalopnik.....

The photos of the new Z4 don’t really do it justice. I saw one at an ice cream place in St. Louis a few months ago and immediately stopped what I was doing to go over and see it. Since then I’ve seen maybe a dozen new Z4s around the city and two Supras.

“no tippy feeling in corners, had a decent ride even on the 20" wheels, and it was about the most practical vehicle outside a true minivan there was.”

Ford and Ford customers apparently agree.

The Versa is the automotive tramp stamp I never knew I needed.

Problem is this study was taken the last time Nissan updated their lineup, so it’s about 13 years old.

Don’t you hate your parents and want to rebel?

What do the youths actually want from Nissan? My money is on a cheap Leaf with a liquid-cooled battery pack.

Nissan is trash.

Related: I don’t mind Joe Buck, either. He is extremely okay at a job that must be harder than it appears from the comfort of my couch judging by how many other people are awful at it. But is he really the only one who can do this? We’ve got him flying from Houston for Game 2, to Minnesota for Thursday Night Football,
