They’re fairly common in the DC area as well, but go anywhere outside a major metro area and no dice.
If only he had a Cobb short shifter...
This whole nonsense about platform sharing only matters to needlessly anal "enthusiasts" who wouldn't buy these cars anyway. Common platform doesn't always equate to tarted up.
Probably had himself a Cobb short shifter. Those are life saving, ya know.
The Matra Murena. It's funky and French. Well, maybe it's not entirely a good or reliable or well designed car, but they're damn different. Three seats!
I see folks overestimating their skills every so often. At best it's embarrassing, at worst deadly. I just respect cars for what they're capable of. All of them.
This. Bravo. Everyone on the internet seems to have this notion that they're Ayrton Senna and then some. I recognize that as a driver, I'd likely overturn an unassisted F12 sharply down an extremely steep cliff. If that level of humility makes me less of a "man" to random 15 year olds on the internet, so be it.
I test drove one for giggles not to long ago. The 1.8T is eons better than the tired and entirely outclassed 2.5. The interiors, even in higher spec trim, leave a bit to be desired compared to my GTI, but it seemed like relatively interesting commuter.
Nope, which is a shame, because it really is a lovely gearbox. Most of the time.
DSG issues are pretty uncommon on the Mk6 it seems. Mine has been just fine through 70k miles. Did the glorified oil change of a service myself for $120 shipped using all OEM parts. It's really not so bad anymore.
Thank goodness this isn't Jezebel.
I didn't know cars could suddenly and without warning just go sideways.
Talbot enthusiasts. When there's only three of us, you kinda have to be nice.
Honestly, he comes across as fairly intelligent. I'm sure we've all had frustrations with the opposite sex, felt alone, shunned, etc. It just happens growing up, even in college. I would've pinned him as smart enough to realize it's a phase.
