Along those lines it’s always stunning to me just how many commercials are on TV for lotteries and scratch-off tickets. Governments aren’t just content to take money off of the gullible and hopeful poor, they’re buying adtime to make sure they take as much as possible.

it’s almost as though the state is an apparatus whose main purpose is to protect class rule and its accompanying injustices, and to project compliance-inducing aggression on behalf of the American elite and its favored allies — locally, nationally, and internationally.

Think of it this way Seattle taxpayers; Clay Bennett moving the Sonics has actually saved you millions of dollars in the subsidies that are now being sucked out of the hicks in Oklahoma City. That $180 million to satisfy the Mariners and their billionaire owner doesn’t look too bad now, does it?

what a time to be alive.

Stunning and brave

Hot take: the Macan is actually pretty great. If Porsche is going to need to (and they do) sell SUVs to remain relevant and producing cars we love , then the Macan is the least offensive way they can go about that and is vastly superior to the Cayenne.

I think this qualifies as “Maximum Send”.

If that’s a Commodore, which I think it is, we got two generations of them as the Pontiac G8 and Chevy SS.

You haven’t spent much time around rednecks, have you?

How is this still cool after the age of 18?

The Australian muscle car culture makes American muscle car culture look tame.

My experience with anything coming out of China is that the products are fine as long as there is good Quality Control. Being as Benelli is an Italian manufacturer, I expect it to look good with many mechanical and electrical problems much like Maserati does when they build in Italy.
