Gives new meaning to "hopping the border"... crickets I'll show myself out.

A case of déjà vu? Williams seem to have a thing for Brazilians who've played second fiddle at Ferrari.

I know a handful of individuals that have overcorrected and flipped their "safe" SUVs while avoiding an accident. Still, they hold dear that their SUV saved their lives. You wouldn't have flipped if you weren't driving an SUV...

To be quite honest, styling aside, this thing wasn't absolutely horrid. Drove relatively nicely and had just enough power. I guess inoffensive is the best description of how it goes about. Ultimately, they were pretty cheap new and have served quite a few of my friends just fine. Not my cup of tea by any means though.

Nowadays they would've been shipped to Guantanamo and our media would've sparked a new hysteria over reckless youth. Well, maybe not.

And this is why I've always enjoyed your comments around these parts for quite a while. Lurked for ages, but never participated much. Nice to see people with level heads.

If we followed what enthusiasts wanted, we'd all have manual, diesel, turbo, wagons with zero options and no A/C. Apparently they would sell like hotcakes too. Clearly every manufacturer has lost their way because they don't cater to a delusional minority.

I love cars, genuinely, but I understand that some people are

Unfortunately, I don't think BMW had you in mind when they designed this car. They could care less about someone buying it 6-10 years from now. They care about the person that has $80-90k in hand at the showroom.

The Avenger is probably one of the least competitive cars in its class. I'll admit, they've turned it around a little with the addition of the Pentastar V6 and updated interior, so it'll hold over until they decide to replace it. Does Mitsubishi even offer the Galant anymore? If we're on the topic of uncompetitive

I, for one, am glad that Chrysler is slowly getting back on its feet. The Sebring always seemed to summarize all that was wrong with Chrysler in my book. Woeful build quality coupled with woeful style with a smattering of general mediocrity. Heck, the 200 isn't perfect, but it's a damn good effort at, well, polishing

That's incredibly poor design. Did nobody think that the wheel well gets a tad dirty? I don't want my hands looking like I've done some wrenching just by popping the trunk.
