I don’t think the Hulk is saving him at all, it’s ruining his life and tearing him away from a place where he belongs. Meanwhile Widow is firmly entrenched in a position she’s earned through her actions in the MCU.

Folks have got to recognize that if the conversation opens with treating the representation of the Black Widow in the film like it is one of the ten greatest crimes of the 21st Century, then the conversation is going nowhere that will help anyone. For the same reason, if the conversation opens with “Shut up and like…
People keep bringing this up. I think the reveal of her sterilization had more to do with her relationship with Banner than it being the crowning moment in her backstory. And as others have repeated, the tragedy of her sterilization isn’t that she can’t have kids, it’s that she had that choice taken away.
The thing is, though, Dallas should have been right. He wasn't a bad captain, or an idiot, and his skill set and management style were plenty good enough for the job he had. Behind Ripley, he was the most competent and serious person on the ship. He was also more flexible though and sympathetic with the crew in ways…
Sure. And X years later, we finally learn about the Engineers and the whole thing turns to shit. There's nothing scarier or more awesome than the creatures that live in the back of your imagination.

And I would agree that the…
Having seen this in 1979, I can honestly say that Ripley's survival was no great surprise, nor of particular significance as to why the film resonated with me then and for almost forty years since.
I would disagree, there's enough good stuff in the original trilogy that lends itself to repeat viewings and the world is imbued with such intricate and practical detail that its look should age very well.

I kind of think superhero movies are the modern westerns. I don't think the bubble is going to burst within the next few years, but within the next few decades? Yes. And some day my grandkid will think of superhero movies the way I think of John Wayne movies- something from a bygone era.
I may get ripped for this but...the Marvel Cinematic Universe
I sure as hell don't want the show without him. What would be the point?
The year is 2047, the place is Neptune’s orbit, and the psychological mindfuck factor is off the charts, for the…
