I DUB THEE...XCALIBRATE!
Nothing can prepare you. Good journey friend...
Another party Titan. The film that made Tia Carrera a star and gave Adam West a reason to live. Nothing can prepare your party for this. MST3K did an episode on this too so you know its kwality...
There is none greater than this. When they teleport into a WASP video halfway through you know it's time to party
So basically this is a direct to video film? I see nothing on this anywhere that it has any kind of a budget. This is just crap like Crawlspace or that Christian slater moon movie that came out recently. Am I missing something here?
They seemed to care less about battlestar despite the fans and the potential it had to become their sopranos. One can only imagine if they had properly funded it and pushed it harder...
Well the first step would be to name the channel something other than syfy. The network name just screams out unkool. Since they air fantasy as well as science fiction, how about creating a brand name that encompasses those genres along with comics, anime, and other fandom?
From someone that liked the reboot all the way up to the ending, the reason I hated it was it just wasn't executed properly. The finale just wasn't well done. From the cinematography, the fx, the resolution of the character arcs, and the presentation of the larger ideas of the show. The finale felt like they had good…
Provided they can deliver a sequel that lives up to the reboot. I'm a hardcore star trek fan but loved the reboot. I just consider it a separate franchise and they can coexist peacefully. Into darkness was awful though.
I think the reason I am so pessimistic is that most of the programming in the past that has featured zombies has a clear ending or story trajectory in order to make a point or points. For example, 28 days later is very dark and pessimistic but it raises some points about who are the real monsters, what it means to…
It depends on how you classify torture porn. At the end of the day watching twd is about watching characters struggle against impossible odds and then losing. There are no life lessons to be learned. No hope for a better tomorrow. Hell the characters have never had a common sense plan. Its just lurching from one…
More power to you then. Some people like soap operas some people like soap operas with zombies in them. To each their own. I'm just surprised so many people seem to think the show is deeper than what it is. Its essentially the ultimate torture porn series in disguise. The transformers of horror if you will
Well said. This is also why I bailed on season 3. No one is going to survive or have a happy ending. Its just going to drag on so you can watch your favorite character die and then be replaced. Wash rinse repeat. I'm amazed people haven't caught on yet.
Usually in these kinds of one off studies I look at what is going on in the wider marketing world. If booth babes don't attract business why are they so heavily used? Why do advertisers love putting scantily clad women in milk or car ads? Money usually filters through what works and what doesn't and if all these…
I agree all hail the king Trevor!
Sorry you are right. I suffer from frequent blackouts after watching the documentary and forget things now. I always get wooden space stations and wooden planets confused
If you want to be pissed and confused all over again find online the unedited documentary on the alien 3 debacle that was supposed to ship with the quadrilogy set. The one that shipped on the disc is edited by fox. The unedited one shows how unbelievably bad the production truly was. Fincher managed to make at least a…
I agree and if you extrapolate that rohrshachs journal is eventually found and ozmandias' works are undone then humanity blows itself up anyways. It just delays the inevitable result.
I'm fine with it as long as they make all the original actors hit the gym really really hard. I dunno if you've seen some of the actors recently, but they need some help. CG can only do so much (though they did an ok job with sticking christopher lee's head on a stunt actors body).
I'm not sure of the age range for comics but there have been plenty of interviews in the past that mentioned that most network TV is written for an audience with an 8th grade education...
