It's great to see them using some of the old actors. Really high production values on this short, nice lighting and mood.

My eyes they burn! The goggles, they do nothing!!

Rendezvous with Rama. I appreciate Mr. Clarke's ideas and concepts in all his sci fi books, but his characters and their personalities/motivations are just to dry and lifeless. Great ideas, but it could have been done as a 20 page short story.

Wow if this happens it will be another great decision by marvel. Man they seem to just keep making good calls. Its like the run Pixar had before they became a sequel factory

Watch this and the Borrower back to back and your face will melt off. I guarandamntee it.

The big question is are they throwing out most of original treatment and if so what are they fitting in? Its been rumoured for a while that Disney wants Darth Vader brought back to sell toys. I hope they aren't scrapping the original treatment so they can shoehorn some stuff in.

You should watch it again it really is unsettling. Its mind blowing to see what is basically a toy commercial where the beloved hero is shot in the face and dies while the main bad guy lives on. Truly epic.

For me it was the original wicker man. It always sat at the end of the row with its bizarre title. Calling out, teasing, beckoning.

I agree with you. Listening for leaking signals seems like a waste of time for SETI and other ET hunters. We should be looking for heat signatures in asteroid belts for evidence of mining operations or other evidence that doesn't assume that our communication methods are the best way.

Its sad when you look at graphs like that to think that all those crappy post apocalyptic movies from the 80s are going to turn into real documentaries. Just like how the Detroit from RoboCop seems to be coming true. Now all we need is some military organization to name its infrastructure skynet and...what's that? The

One can only hope that exploration and outer space actually make a reappearance. Along with the jettisoning of IP breaking macguffins like interplanetary teleporters and khans magic cure all blood. I can't believe paramount didn't stop those two points for sake of breaking the entire star trek universe.

Too bad the game didn't live up to the amazing trailer. It was a B grade game with some nice visuals and a terrible, terrible story.

Good point about the heavy metals. I would hope these new farm lands are being inspected before people start growing things out of the ground. I would bet a lot of that housing would be quite old and not necessarily in line with modern health codes

Definitely best of times especially with the coming collapse right around the corner it will be looked back as a time of amazing achievements. This likely is as good as it is going to get until people realize global warming, overpopulation, and stabilizing food supplies need to be primary focuses.

I agree with your points. My biggest problem with the show is they can just throw a zombie in to kill a character that was waiting just out of frame. The scenarios they get themselves into always seem to have out of frame zombies at every turn. In a movie format it works fine but in a 10 hour season it gets tiring.

No one cares about new Orleans. Just like no one cares about Detroit. People say they do but actions speak volumes.

Sadly it will likely take a major western city to be flooded in a massive way for people to take real action. Until that happens things will likely just march on business as usual.

A very unflattering angle and pose. Too bad its not a nice marketing shot to show off details. I have serious doubts this film is going to be able to juggle it's 14 lead actors properly. Each actor is going to get approx 8 mins of screen time unless they just use some as cameos

This is the first news from marvel I've had to shake my head at in a long time. The mandarin is lame let him stay a joke. I don't want to see Ben Kingsley running around with magic rings. As a life long iron man fan the mandarin was always lame and had some of the worst stories in the comics. Let it be marvel, you did

As a life long iron man fan the mandarin was always a terrible villain in the comics. He uses magic rings that were later nano rings and it was always lame. Not to mention semi racist. Some of the worst classic iron man stories featured him. I love what marvel did with the character and I hope they keep giving his
