I think its pretty clear that rohrshach wins in the end. The poem of ozymondias which the character is named after is about achieving great things only to have time make those achievements whither and fade. I think the final lesson is given enough time ozymandias great achievement will be undone. Most likely by

I wonder if the purple screens explain a lot of their poor cg compositing. I thought green screens were the standard these days

For fans of forgotten TV horror the late 80s series Monsters had an amazingly creepy episode called "the waiting game". Its a post apocalyptic story with just a few survivors in a fallout shelter. Has a really creepy and hopeless vibe with a nice twist at the end. If you try and track it down online try not to read

People have forgotten the Batman animated series from the 90s was a really high end production that stood out from everything else on the air at the time. Top notch voice talent, art style, animation, and story. Batman is suffering from franchise fatigue. They should only be making Batman cartoons with the highest

If only those costumes were appealing to girls today. I like bewbs as much as the next person but Halloween has gotten so overly sexy that some Halloween parties feel more like strip clubs. You know its bad when you are at a family gathering and you mistake your sister as a street worker

As a life long iron man fan I love what they did with the mandarin in iron man 3. He was always a terrible villain in the comics and I love how trevor is a massive middle finger to the whiners who think the mandarin character is worth anything. They made the mandarin a joke and I hope they keep punching his fans in

I think part of the problem with beware is simply franchise fatigue. Batman in animated form needs a rest and a long design time. A modest proposal how about a 12 episode season with sky high production values. Instead of cranking out batman content hold back and focus on really high quality. When the batman animated

Tucker and dale is an amazing film. Wish it got more attention. Film nerds unite!

This paradox sounds like it can be overcome by pure computing power. As machines allow simulation of more and more complex systems the more likely it will be to create tools to maintain complexity while allowing for utility.

If the first thought I have when looking at that photo is of Watership Down, does that mean I need professional help?

The john titor stuff is amazing. Whoever pulled that prank off was brilliant. Knew just enough terminology in different fields to really sell it to people. My favorite part are the photos of the time machine that looks like a leftover prop from total recall in a shitty car trunk. So good I wish it was true!

Seems more and more that the best bet to detect life is to look for heat signatures of mining operations in asteroid belts. If planets are just too complex to get definitive proof, then maybe they should look in places where they know there shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary and go from there instead.

Anyone else down for a darker and mature rated star trek show that focuses on a Klingon crew? Granted there would have to be some reworking of the klingon mythos to make them a bit more relatable to audiences, but it would allow for a lot more gray area storytelling without directly withviolating the great birds prime

Agree with most of what you said but a new show would really benefit from the new 13 episode standard. Focus on a coherent story arc per season and maximize fx budget and writing quality. Drop 100 mil per season and you could get some amazing high end television.

Next next gen please. There have been so many tech advancement s in the past 20 years since next gen was on TV it would be great to see them incorporated into the mythos. Do for star trek what next gen did to the original series. It better not be a ground zero reboot and it should be a 13 ep season run to allow for

After Prometheus my excitement level for this project is zero.

Depending on how much realism you want to bring in to the batman universe, most of Batman's villains would likely be eliminated by organized crime.

Er I meant Ian Mackelen and sci fi. Thanks autocorrect.

True but the precedent he helped set I think carries through today. You can see with the likes of Patrick Stewart and an mackellan who are big names in today's sci find and fantasy world
