The quality of these things looks pretty amazing. I paid about $100 for something similar a couple of years ago, but it wasn’t nearly as professional looking.

I’m not debating the quality of the company, I’m referring to their right to kick start a new Descent. There are way too many of these old companies that can’t get their shit together, Atari and Sega being two big ones.

From the article, Interplay owns the copyright to the name, so they have the right to create another game in the series. The only thing the developer’s are entitled to are royalties on the original two games.

I think Steam, Sony, and Microsoft have done a better job, compared to DRM, at cutting down on piracy.
