I have my lavender Crocs on right now. I wear them as house shoes and they're super comfy, esp. with big socks. My vanity prevents me from wearing them outside of the house. I just can't.

At the other end of the jumpsuit spectrum, is anyone else old enough to remember the NafNaf brand from the 80s? French, I think, big baggy clothes? I had several of their jumpsuits, which were huge and brightly colored cotton, lots of pockets. I think I literally had this one.
I'm with you on that! Agree they work in theory. Worth it though for the smoothing out/sucking in they provide. Nothing like it.
I love a good jump suit. Just found a pic of myself from the mid-80s in a black one, turtleneck, wide elastic belt (a la MObama) at the waist. Gad I looked good! I'd wear that again right now. I think I'd look even better.
I have a good cry every once in a while.
OK this made me squee and cry and I'm not even a big fan of mimi's, and she wasn't even really singing! Such is her magic butterfly power.
It is indeed! Also to complete the recipe, you saute the sprouts in butter and/or olive oil till they're soft-ish. add the other stuff and toss.
YUM. Made some this week, accompanied in the pan with diced white and sweet potatoes, red bell pepper, garlic cloves and thyme. Also love them with sliced sausage... I often use the precooked italian chicken sausage. cut up the pieces and they get all roasty toasty along w/the vegetables and render some fat. Could…
To make this go quickly, if you have a food processor, send them down the chute with the slicing blade, so they get thinly sliced.
Not really so new. I used to work in advertising, in-house on the client side, and our (female) ad reps would often take us out for pedicures rather than lunch, etc. It was fun and relaxing. Sometimes we'd go to the cute neighborhood place, other times to the swanky Peninsula Hotel, etc.
Late to the party here. I do really well with Marika and "The Girls" and Moving Comfort, usually bought at tj maxx or Marshall's for <$20. I wear my yoga togs a lot for all fitness activities and they last and last, no pilling on these big athletic thighs.
I loooove working out, and never really get hassled at my gym, a local Y. I spend most of my time there in the boxing room, actually, because I do a lot of that kind of workout (punching/kicking, kettlebells, bands) and it has all the equipment I need with much fewer goofy kids/muscleheads. Pretty macho zone. I did…
Oh don't get me wrong, i 'm so glad he continued on! I love that album and most of the others. Have seen him live close to a dozen times.
Submitted for your consideration:
Actually, and pathetically, no — a little dense today — but I am grateful for the clip! Still one of my favorites from the man who's still got it.
Thanks for the hugs! Much needed!
You are so right about it never leaving you... I'm amazed at how triggered I am after reading the original NY Times piece about this case, and then about this latest development. My bullying for a year at age 10 was definitely one of the formative traumas of my life, and I'm talking 40+ years on. Fortunately I got out…
You have got to be kidding me re: Miley. Now I'm not saying people haven't been harsh on her — but she's a legal adult, in the public eye, and cultivating an image for attention and celebrity. There is NO equivalency there.
thankyouthankyouthankyou I needed that!
He's 55. From where I'm sitting that's not old at all!
