Word. I have a hereditary compulsion for saving empty yogurt/ricotta containers for this purpose.

The Parmesan rind adds such depth of flavor to soups or stocks. The way to get around the gluey thing is to tie it up in a little cheesecloth, that way it stays intact/away from the liquid but oozes its flavor. Worth the extra step, I think.

SECONDED! I LOVE Evernote, finding it a super way to take notes at meetings, keep to do lists, journal, etc. Especially now that I've figure out how to encrypt things, for my sexy dreams and recollections of discussions w/#1 and #2 guys.

Nice Schindler's List reference!

Wow, just wow. I actually watch Hoarders all the time, I find it fascinating and yes, I admit it makes me feel a little bit better about myself and my own clutter issues, which are not anywhere near the hoarding level, but I do find myself hesitating to throw out just one of several used whatevers (jars, plastic

Screw men (well, there is that...) I wear Spanx and their ilk so that I look good in clothes for ME.

It says these are 'random things we spend our money on'

you gave me a much-needed giggle today!

So, I'm curious....what kinds of products are "worth it" to you that you'd like to see featured here?

I know, I had no idea about the pubes. What a horror. Plus, as I've gone through menopause, the pubic hair has thinned out (I had an old-school full bush for the longest time). So now I'm on the Brazilian bikini wax hamster wheel simply because I can't deal w/the thinning AND the gray down there. I liken it to men

I second that emotion. My thoughts exactly. For me, Ryan = younger but not too young. George = age-appropriate and hot as hell. Both still seeming, to me, to look like regular guys.

I too love the shimmer strips; not the one pictured above, but the skinny one with lots of colors that you can match to your eye color. I run my brush along all of them to mix it up and get an interesting effect that way.

Great idea. I'm going to check out the Oil Cleansing Method, and give it a whirl on my brows. Another well-proven use for castor oil is in a warm pack to help ease a variety of conditions/inflammation. Helps to draw out whatever is ailing you, up to and including cysts/boils. I've done it and it's ever so

I volunteer at my local animal shelter, and it's challenging at times to work out the logistics of access to the animals (very limited during the week) + getting a camera-savvy volunteer there at the right time + getting scared/skittish animals to cooperate.

Interesting (if pedantic) — good catch. Actually I'm not a model/actress, but part of the work I do involves me inspiring other people (mostly women) by looking naturally healthy, fit and pulled-together. My hair is a part of that. If it was limp and dull and frizzled and a bad color it wouldn't help me to radiate

I second this — maybe that's my discomfort with the word. And BTW I love your handle.

Having just gotten my hair did today, this is top of mind for me. I have grown to LOVE the Pantene + the shampoo, and I'm speaking as a (somewhat reformed) product snob. I have very wavy/curly hair, and was spending a small fortune on shampoo/conditioners from Deva Curl, Pureology, etc. on my stylist's

I'm open to finding new, positive resonance w/the word ... and *that's* the kind of sassy I can get behind! Thanks for sharing it. Glad you weren't dinged for the link.

A) Thank you! B) I was a teen in the '70s so don't have that connotation w/that great magazine... sounds like it was wonderful, and I could have used it!
