Are we blaming Qui-Gon because you don’t like Jar-Jar, then? He does take responsibility for him to protect him from punishment, but it works out positively for the entire conflict they’re embroiled in. And he does pretty well against Maul, but c’mon, Maul was trained in combat from birth. Lucky shot from Obi-Wan,

Are you arguing that Kylo Ren’s name literally means “emo”?

Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view.

Thank you for speaking up, my friend. I’ll see you around the Prequel Appreciation Society. ;)

Palpatine is my favorite villain in the whole SERIES thanks to the prequels.

He cheats when the dice is thrown and there are two possible outcomes. There is no outcome that would result in him getting both. Unless, of course, you’re arguing he should’ve taken Shmi and ditched Anakin. And frankly, he did seem to be hitting on her, so maybe.

We first learn that any attempt for the slaves to escape without being sold results in their heads exploding.

Well, there’s R2. He quit the hardest of all, but I presume that was probably something Luke asked him to do.

...although I suddenly like the idea of Force-sensitive surgeon.

He actually does try to free Shmi, but fails to make the deal. And it’s not like he can perform the surgery to cut out her head-bomb, so he basically does the only thing he can do - attempts to negotiate and gets denied.

The Internet Hive Mind seems to always be trying to convince everyone to hate the prequels. It’s very easy to just join in the masses, but make sure you consider your own perspective as well. I recommend reading a few essays on the merits of the prequels and at least considering another point of view.

That’s a really good point about the Empire. This is the best response I’ve gotten.

The longest DLC yet? Does it last at least one hour?

It’s probably in sixth place in the pantheon of Star Wars movies for me. Entertaining, yes, but we can do better.

The SPOILER photo you linked to of the OTHER playable character kinda seems to undercut a lot of the more protective, positive aspects of this prostitution portrayal.

...I think he was pretty much right about TWoP. Mostly the staff.

“Earthbound Endings”

NEVER.

You just won my Internet today. And my heart.
