Although I was never a fan of that pairing, the fact that Peter Parker made a LITERAL DEAL WITH THE DEVIL to undo his marriage to save his aunt who DIED TWICE ALREADY makes such an unheroic character that there’s just no getting around.

I don’t think people WANT to dislike it. I mean, there are certainly other books in the new continuity that actually have gotten good reactions. But maybe I’m underestimating the fact that this is the first piece of the post-ROTJ, pre-TFA puzzle.

Plinkett’s reviews were funny but sucked otherwise. There’s little logic to them as far as reviews, and he even consistently states blatant falsehoods. But they’re fucking hilarious.

Oh yeah. I would’ve totally played that, although... man, I never supported the idea that making the titular legendary hero turn out to the villian would be somehow awesome. I call “betrayal!” But maybe it would’ve been well-handled?

So far, Armature has given us some ports and developed Batman: Arkham Origins - Blackgate... which was decent. Slightly above-average, I’d say.

More of the prequel is practical than I first realized, though. When I watched the behind-the-scenes stuff... it’s impressive how many of the monsters were physically THERE, because there are definitely some bits I assumed were CGI that weren’t.

Yeah, I had a lot of existential crisis in my 20s, too.

Yeah, I like it too. It’s pretty strong, still suspenseful, even if it’s not up to the Carpenter movie. At least it’s better than any other attempt to recapture that classic- fuck all the comics and the video game.

Also, since we officially established that Logan’s “love” for Jean is just his obsession with the fact that she looks just like the girl he loved and accidentally killed before he lost his memory, why the fuck we even talkin’ about this?
