A nicely tuned 1.8T is fun to drive and has some get up and go when you’re in the boost. The VR6 has wonderful torque as well. It’s not the super grunty pin you to the seat with a wall of noise of a v8, but you can definitely feel the acceleration compared to other small hatchbacks.

Yes, it’s stupid. However, I can absolutely see some idiot suing Volkswagen because they got an idea from a commercial and then their stanced douchemobile careened into a tree after blowing a tire.

I attended a presentation by their chief engineer recently. The obstacles this company faces are huge.
How do you maintain vacuum system integrity, cost-effectively, in a system this size. Any here had the joy of chasing vacuum leaks?
How do you ensure human safety in a vacuum environment?
How do you suppress

My wife and I have a dishwasher magnet, and no joke it has solved a lot of marital strife. It may sound minor, but the damn light on our dishwasher was not enough for us to tell when it was clean/dirty. And after enough times of squabbling about who did/didn’t do the dishes, and who messed up the clean dishwasher, we

They’ve also faced harassment from neighbors who believe that Fixer Upper homes are raising their property taxes.

BUT IS THE SHIPLAP OK!?!??!?!?!

How much would it cost for someone to buy those 300 000 bricks and make the steel frame and by those 3 tyres? I’m wondering if it would truly be cheaper than buying the real one?

The physics appears normal to me. The rear gets sliding while the front still has grip. The rear end comes around then the front loses traction and the car slides ass first into the curve. I see something that is tricky to do intentionally but perfectly within normal driving physics.

I can’t wait to see the asshole’s mugshot. Good work CHP. It’s jerks like this that make it tougher on all the other riders trying to be safe out there.

They’re shells. No engines. No radiators. No gas tanks. No fuel lines. What exactly all of this “poison” you’re worried about? Steel and aluminum are pretty harmless.

Damn, I’m not the biggest fan of NASCAR in particular, and I’m definitely part-hippie, but come on. What’s the difference between a car shell and a iron deposit

Or, he’s creating a future iron mine for humans on earth eons from now. Look on the bright side man.

Don’t be that guy. It’s just shells.

While I do agree with your point about ruining the beautiful natural landscape, these are empty shells. Basically just sheet metal and steel tubing. The engine, transmission, tires, interior and fluids have all been stripped.

It would be awesome if one day this particular section of property was opened up to the respectful public to wander around.

Imagine how terrible of a driver you have to be to 1) react to a biker kicking your car at highway speeds, 2) try to engage a retaliatory attempt to take the biker out, and 3) to then lose control of the vehicle over something that was so inconsequential and not worth reacting to.

These seem......... expensive to me. As noted, there are other lesser-branded TVs out there for similar prices, and that offer similar (or better) features.

Why do TV manufacturers still insist on adding that garbage “motion smoothing” option to their sets, or even worse, turn it on by default? I don’t know anyone who uses it, and if they do it’s because they don’t know any better.

To be perfectly honest, I think I’ve reached a point in my life where my vision is no longer good enough to get much out of 4K TV.
