There is not such thing as “iphone fast charge”. iPhones charge at a max of 1.5A that’s with any device capable of that amperage. Qualcomm Quick Charge is probably what you’re thinking of.

If the company making it doesn’t know the difference between “Mini USB” and “Micro USB” then I don’t want anything to do with their product.
To add to what all the other users have said- try and do a tuneup on any of the newer (2005ish+) trucks. Every single one I’ve seen whether it is a V8 or an I4- the engines are all sitting back underneath the cowl against the firewall. Good luck getting to those back few cylinders.
Oh no kidding? Yeah I was thinking that if it was in the dirt, then that would be too much of a risk of ripping the thing up too much to drive home. I’m all for ‘off-roading’ and racing, but mud is no joke and can really tear up a transfer case if it’s thick enough. Then again, chances are for a race track condition…
I will say this- the only mount that we use in the Army for the computers are ones built by RAM mounts. It’s also the same company that Police use. I’m not saying you should blindly buy one because of this, but I did research on them years ago and I came up with the same conclusion as the DOD and the PD’s. So for 4…
ODOT (ohio dept of transportation), mainly just highway work with bridges and some paving thrown in there. Right now I’m stuck in limbo between graduation and taking two freshman level labs (surveying and environmental) that didn’t transfer. Either way though, I plan on doing just about anything other than state work…
Haha, yeah I’ve heard that a few times, absolutely the truth too. Wow, you weren’t kidding when you said you’re getting heavy into electrical! I will say, NGK makes some rock solid plugs. They’ve got to be the only kind I’ve ever taken out of a car at 100k and though seriously about putting them back in (didn’t). Yeah…
Wow, freaking crazy haha. Civil actually. I decided I liked building things because of Lego’s and Lincoln Logs as a kid, so naturally I chose construction but my dad is an electrical, so I guess your guess isn’t too far off. It’s really funny how like minded engineers are- neither of us are actually electrical, but…
In terms of convenience I think they’re awesome. They’re relatively cheap if you go for the single coil versions (ex one of these) so you could get a few and put them at your desk or night stand. For context, I’m an engineer so I’ve got a few of them with accompanying stands made out of Lego’s so the one I have at my…
Hahaha, yeah, same here. The turbo charger has been giving me the same issue with the volt & amp changes.
So here’s the deal with the ‘top 4’- they all use Qualcomms’ Quick Charge 2.0 technology. That works by upping the voltage (often confused with amperage) up to 12v (the potential steps are as follows: 5V, 9V, and 12V). So for the Nexus 6 for example, it utilizes 9V at up to 1.6A all the way up to 80% (not too sure,…
Out of curiosity, how would this work? Would the seat time it perfectly so that the pilot doesn’t get their head and or feet lopped off or would the ejection sequence release the blades and then shoot them out?
Edit: Found it- explosive pins for the rotors
How did these Philips 60W bulbs not make the list?! They’re so damn cheap and seem to do a great job!
Not necessarily. Spec book for state of Ohio allows for up to 6” compressed thickness. FWIW I initially watched that with a really bad connection and it looked like all the asphalt had come up leaving the 301 bare. Now that I’ve seen it again, it looks like the 404 was all that came up.
Yep the entire front row is always always 100% handicapped with no other regular spots, you’re right. And I’m the retard? So how about this 4th corner that you keep magically forgetting about? Ya know the other one that is the opposite of “the front” (the back) and on the opposite side of this Barney collection bin.…
There’s more than one side to a parking lot you dipshit. No one said that specific fucking spot where the purple donation box is. They said the end fucking spot meaning ANY end fucking spot.
You know that because there is a spot and a half gap there. Wolfman meant the literal edge. Like right next to the curb, which is what this dipshit (BMW owner) should have done
That top layer of asphalt is about 5” too thin. Typically the top layer is about 6” thick.
Man I know the MK4s got a bad rap, but I can honestly say after having one for 10 years and 160,000 miles (picked up at 35k) that I didn’t have one single thing you listed go wrong. What did go wrong was: ignition coils (recalled), downpipe x3 (all ohio rust belt), steering rack x2 (again, rust belt and re-man), a few…
