You beat me to it! Honestly a great engine. I have 185,000miles on mine, still average from 33-38mpg, and still have a good deal of boost. Really no complaints here. I vote if it comes down to it, the AWP take the crown.

Which one? the FSI or PFSI? Only thing I have against them is the stupid air intake flap mishap that took VW years to recall. Like 8 (2005 engine, recall didn't happen till '13).
That's weird, honestly never had a problem with it. I've even installed it on flash drives from computers at school that usually block installations without admin rights.
Maybe try downloading a portable version of Chrome and running it from a flash drive. See portableapps.com
Interesting. Kind of like a throttle on a hydrostatic tractor. Not my cup of tea.
Hahaha. Now that I don't understand. I have seen that happen too, and ironically both of the guys that cycled through two or three WRX's/STI's then sold them off. One got an A4 and the other got a brand new Accord (couldn't have predicted that). Seems like over time, everyone figures out what really matters and…
Put it in the glove box! Please don't act like you actually use yours. I mean, if I had N/A car with the option of a turbo car w/o a glovebox... I mean that's like a girl with DD's with no butt when my present girl already has no butt. AMIRITE?
Completely agree. When my friends try to poke fun at the VW lineup, specifically the GTI vs. the STI, I always use that comparison. GTI/ R always has an impressive interior. Doesn't sound like much but when you're cooking down the highway with no road noises every single day without creaks and still complain, let me…
Downshifting? Were you still talking about a CVT? I don' think you can actually downshift in one of those. The one I drove, you couldn't anyway.
The STi has been out for years. YEARS. USE ANY PREVIOUS ENGINE. AAAANY. BAM STI- BRZ. Done. Oh yeah, and a trans, which shouldn't be hard.
Has anyone tested this app on the 5S? I've tried it on my Nexus 5 (which apparently has the same style "activity processor" for fitness or whatever you want to call it) and the results I got were pretty mixed. First the app also used a coarse GPS location, which was understandably inaccurate, and this caused a 20%…
Dachis- smoke but no cigar sir. They are labeled that way primarily because of the design of the actual USB slot. True, some ports also charge at 10W (or 2A in this situation), but that's only for certain devices.
Read the review on this page from Victor, it's the top one. So far his explanation is the easiest to understand that I've seen.
Theoretical economy? Are you kidding me?! Damn mental midgets on here today....
Yeah and from what I remember of it, the custom work was a quick and shoddy job on the car that already wasn't supposed to be on the road (title issue or something). But from what I've heard about it around the internet, it's essentially just a botched factory job handed over to a custom shop.
I think the "fiery death" avoidance was actually included in this stability control program. Ferrari on the other hand clearly has not figured this one out.
A crazy one I suppose lol. For the sake of argument- let's say unforgiving when it comes to a situation that involves someone (car driver) who could've easily avoided the whole situation entirely. I guess though, if the driver was elderly, I would've understood why this happened so I see your point. BUT they weren't…
To add to what Shep said, you could always use a NAS Adapter which just hooks an external hard drive up to a router via ethernet. Assuming in your situation though that all your media is on an internal drive, you can also get a 3.5" (tower style drive size) or a 2.5" (laptop size drive) sata enclosure to hook up to…
Does LAN streaming count? i.e. Roku + Plex + 1080p movie = (correct me if I'm wrong) Blu-Ray.
I wouldn't stop either. The car driver knew he was coming yet did nothing to get out of the way. He could've backed up or just forced his way forward, yet did nothing and inconvenienced the 30 or so that were on the train.
