That would be a serious cash-in opportunity. Make a Wario Ware with enough mini-game on its own to be a stand alone title, then offer every mini-game ever made for the series in packs of five as in-app purchases.

From what I remember from a previous Nintendo Direct, the creative directors behind Splatoon are disciples of Shigeru Miyamoto. They are the students who have learned under the master to carry on the tradition for future generations, and this is their first major work.

There must be some sort of internal competition at Nintendo for who can get the silliest idea approved.

As a kid growing up in the 90s, I gotta say one thing about this game that appeals to me is that it reminds me of (classic) Nickelodeon. The whole game has this early 90s vibe that is freaking awesome.
